Yo kiters.
I have just read that Paddle Victoria has been given approval by DHS to allow kayaking under stage 4 as of sept 7. I suppose this includes SUP as you paddle .
Has anyone heard anything about kiting ?
I need a kite . Its been months.
Cheers.

If you live within 5K's just go.
The fascist overlords, you know the ones that carry guns, batons, pepper spray and handcuffs have been a bit sketchy of late, checking cars for local parking stickers those with, have been left alone those without, different story.

Is that on the Peninsula or in the city?

Important update for Victorian kiteboarders

Over the past few days Kiteboarding Australia has been in discussion with relevant Victorian government authorities. We have some exciting news to share with our community in relation to the easing of restrictions and their relation to Kiteboarding.

Kiteboarding is now classified as permitted exercise under the current Covid-19 stage 4 regulations. This means you can now leave your house to go kiteboarding if you live within 5km's of a kite beach. We understand that this is difficult for those who are further than 5kms, however we hope that we will be all back on the water together soon. From Sunday (13th of September at 11:59pm) the rules arechanging to allow you to leave the house for two hours, meaning it is realistic that you can leave your house, get to the beach (within 5km's) and go for a session.

We have been advised that any breaches to any of the social distancing rules will come under scrutiny, so please do the right thing, keep to the Victorian Government rules and follow the below guidelines.

Bayside, St Kilda to Mentone. Police roadblocks every day on Beach Road somewhere, much heavier presence on the weekends. Police setup today just before Green Point (Hampton/Brighton Boundary) and were stopping every car. Tradie vans, Utes and trucks no issue, waved through. Forgot to add they seem to look at whether you have the Council foreshore sticker or not if you have one for the area your cars in they seem to leave you alone. Those without get a little more attention. I've seen a few people park cars in side streets and do the wander.

Thanks for your concern happy g
Melbs sucks, what's worse is the directives aren't even lead by the CHO or the police chief which means our lives are controlled by some numpty that's clearly oblivious to all of the glaring human rights violations.
