Hi guys, I'm just getting started in wing foiling and I'm using some Gong gear (I know...) but I want to invest in a new equipment !
I started to search on internet for some good and not that much expensive equipment and after scrolling a few moment, I found out Sroka Company.
I checked their website and instagram, discovered that Sroka is a 3 time world champion in kite surf. Moreover I saw that they were in an event not that far from me (Switzerland) on a lake in France.
There were many other brands (Fanatic Duotone, Fone, RRD, Takoon...) but their stand (Sroka's) was really small compared to others. I talked with the staff they were nice and let me test some of their product.
I tested SkyRider 5'5 (90L) and their S-foil 1750 with their new 5m wing (there were no branding on it I guess it was a prototype or something...)
I really enjoyed the ride, got up easily and had great sensation.
Since I've tested their equipment I don't want to use my old second-hand Gong equipment haha but when I talk about this brand to some friends they don't really know it and I would like to know if someone already bought it and how it goes with the time and everything.
So if anyone has some experience with it or some opinion on this brand I would love to hear it :)

Why not got with ENSIS wing and board plus SABfoil? Or Indiana Paddlesurf?Established and they had a big event at Lake Silvaplana.

I am riding with Sroka equipment since 2020. I bought Sky Rider 6'3. My first intention was to use it for Windfoiling and Wingfoiling. But since I bought the equipment, I never tried to Windfoil with this board. Wigfoiling - was the answer that I was looking for. I can surf with wing in inland lakes. I do not go to sea as we have difficult conditions.
At the moment I use Sky Rider as my early spring and late autumn/winter board to have enough volume under feet to spend as less time as possible in the water.
For learning tricks and cruising it is a good board. It is stable, easily controllable and predictable and durable. Had no issues with it during these 2.5 years.
Also this board I use for light wind but it is too wide for this purpose. If it would be narrow by 8cm, it would be the perfect board for low wind.
As for foil, I have classic 2000cm2, 1750cm2, and HA1190 Speed.
classic 2000cm2 - low wind flying machine. You can easily turn, despite the width of 107cm. You have to pump gently and calmly at a low pace and it will work like charm.
1750cm2 - good for midrange wind. Relatively early fly as its thickness is 30mm. Very stable and very easily turnable and good for pumping. My versatile wing.
HA1190 Speed - my high wind wing. Easily lifts much more speed compared to 1750cm2 or Gong Fluid XXL-S. Amazing turning and I was surprised with the stability and glide.
Foils are solid, during my winging I hit several times stones underwater and the bottom of the lake. No issues.
I also have Gong X-over XXL foil, Fluid XXL-S front wing, and Veloce XXL. Also some stabs.
So compared with Gong, Sroka is lighter, the fuselage is slimmer also the mast is thinner by a few millimeters. 70 and 80 cm mast does not whistle compared to gong 75 and 85cm masts (they both whistle).
You can change the angle of the rear stabilizer which could also be helpful.
I also managed to mount Gong front wings on Sroka. But it is possible only for 2020 version. And Sroka really good works with Fluid XXL-S and Veloce XXL front wings.
As a wing, I have 4m2 wing and use it for wind 14-20 m/s. Easy to control and is stable in a neutral position. I did not like handles. My other wings are Duotone wings with a boom. And I got used to holding the rigid boom. So when the wind dies, it is more tricky to hold it than the boom.
I am 82 kg, 183 cm with 16 years of windsurfing experience and had no foiling experience before.
In summer I ride Reedin Feather 82L.
If you have any questions, just let me know

Hi thanks for your answer, I already tested Indiana and did not like it, their products don't look well finished and it was too slow compared to other equipment.
I like ENSIS quality but the thing is that I can have a full hardboard pack with SROKA for 2400 CHF (5"5 board)
Moreover some of their products are made in France not in Asia, so I would have (it's what I think from what I saw) a good quality close to ENSIS with a cheaper price no ?
Do you have tested Sroka gear ?

Hey glad you are finding what you want and enjoy. I would give a big thumbs up to Gong, they are a top european brand and have earned their place in the market, their customer service for me was top notch, all their stuff is very competitively priced and they appear to test everything very seriously. Move over to what feels good to you but I wouldn't give up on a good brand too early, perso I ride the Gong lethal and it is a really cool board, I'm having tons of fun with it. All the best with your wing journey, and yes Ensis looks to be a good wing if you are looking for swiss wings

I personally wouldn't give up on Gong. What equipment from them do you have?

That said their beginner foil wings are not great. I found the Veloce much easier to ride because it actually has glide.
They are also releasing HA wings very shortly.

Thank you for this detailed answer, happy to know that someone is using this brand gear. You comfort me in the idea of maybe investing in this material. Moreover I saw that if my skills get better I won't need to buy another full foil set, I can only change the front wing or what.
Have you seen any test video that could be interesting ? What helped you to purchase this brand and not another one ?

The thing is as I said it's a second hand equipment that I bought for a really good price.
I'm feeling that its time has come hahaha. That's why I want to invest on a solid brand with a good quality and durability without being extremely expensive

I ride a used gofoil and it's fantastic, solid, simple and fun, there are not so many used wings to chose from but I am having fun, I think if you can get something local that is solid and you can get more wings later that's all you need

I found some information on French Forums (in French, I used Google Translate):
www.pimpyourride.fr/forum-wingfoil/search.php?keywords=sroka&fid%5B0%5D=5
forum.wingfoil.fr/search?q=sroka

Also there is test for Classic foil:

when I was surching, my main goal was to find universal board for windfoil and wingfoil. Not many companies offered such board. Also the price for the Made in France board was good.
Concerning the board quality, I had no issues with it.
As for the foils, they are good. I think there are much better but more expensive foils. My oppinion is that Sroka foil line is more orientated to casual riders which wants more time to spend in flight than battling with foil which are made for professionals.
For me riding wingfoil is like meditation and possibility to clear up my head after the work.
If you are around 80 kg, I would suggest to pick up Classic 1750 cm2 and HA 1190 speed. It would be the best combo for almost all conditions, except for very light wind. For this I use Sroka Classic 2000 or Gong X-over 2200.

I just got their new HA foil 1350L. Amazing lift and glide comparing to Gong X-over XXL, Veloce XXL which I used for low wind days. It looks like that now I can easier catch the gust and get up on foil. Also I have longer glide when underpowered. So I sold out these Gong wings and also Fluid XXLS. For stronger winds I use HA 1190S.
As someone said in this forum that after you try HA wings, it is hard to get back to mid or low aspect wings.
