I've forgotten the last time I sailed two days in a row... I keep having to pinch myself
I had 3 in a row the other week at QBN. Plus these two. Fingers crossed for this Friday afternoon.
Q's at its ugliest today. High tide mess compounded by jellies, sun in ya eyes and the crossing flight paths of low flying kites. A proper challenge for brave high-winders this arvo.
Nudgee beach out to the airport was fantastic. White water ramps everywhere with flat spots in between. My favourite spot in strong northerlies and high tides.
Blowin it's tits off at qbn, great messed up semi controlled sesh, apart from my face plant on a jelly
I got out at QBN at 1:30pm before high tide.. One of kiters was getting some huge air.
I was a bit under done with a 5m in the gusty conditions. Might try Nudgee beach next big northerly on high tide.

Nudgee is Docs private bump+jump fun park. Ask nicely and he might let you have a go on the merry-go-round

You need to come sail the open's up on sunny coast mate, another super fun cross on session at Castaway's just me and Ken, Whilst not as windy as Redcliffe only a few kiters passing through on their way down wind so could have your pick of wave riding some super clean shoulder to head high sections until the tide got too low. Still good to hear plenty of people getting on the water!
Yet another high performance manoeuvre
Run him over next time
What are you guys doing!? Sailing is cancelled until my back gets better. That means everyone!
Bet you've been using my carpark too...

Was wondering where you've been? Sorry to hear about your back Shifu, maybe some sage words that Dr.Gas gave me a few years ago when I was bleeting might help you too. And I'm paraphrasing here...
'We're all f%*k'n old men with the same f#^k'n problems. Suck it up & take some drugs... ffs get back out there & take one for the team.'
Hope this helps and let me know if there is anything I can do to help out mate.

Oh God the pain...
I still recall a great conversation I had with the physio after my first bout of really debilitating back pain, a few years ago now. He told me, "one of the major predictors of back pain is previous experience of back pain." "I've never really had serious back problems before," I mentioned. His reply - "Well, you have now." Hope that thought cheers you up.
Shifu, maybe you'd like to take on the role of videographer/gybe marker until you are well? HaHa.....
Nice vid, great day out, got a bit strong towards the end for the 4.2. Some really nice faces coming through to jump.
Nice work Dan. And I reckon if Saturdays wind was the result of our impromptu beach drinks on Friday, I say we meet every Friday to sacrifice beer to the wind gods
Man I wish I had been there. Sadly old-man syndrome has me...
If you want to enjoy a bit of schadenfreude, I think I've done my back today too. Nasty bone rattling short chop at Wello, should have gone to qbn.
