The 2020 Australian Youth Championships are being held at Sorrento on the Mornington Peninsula between 10 to 14 January.
There are 2 classes Techno 293 and Techno 293 Plus.
In the Techno 293 class there are 14 competitors all under 18 years old, with 6 female represented.
In the Techno 293 Plus class there are 13 competitors, with 2 females entered. 9 of the fleet are under 18 years old.

Representing Queensland in the Techno 293 Class are Jarrod Jones, Benjamin Waters and Nick Woodford.
Representing Queensland in the Techno 293 Plus Class are Max Irvin and Hamish Swain.
All the windsurfers are from Royal Queensland Yacht Squadron, Hamish also representing his home club of WSC Whitsundays.

They had fun but 2 of the 4 days were cancelled due to smoke.
However they all just finished that Raceboard Nationals today at RQ where two of them were in the top 10. They did 15 races in 4 days in pretty solid wind everyday and to top it off they provided the live music at the Manly Deck for the entire fleet on Thursday night.
