Hi Guys,
Nice to be blessed with some wind today. Chop was crazy in the centre, especially with the big cruiser doing laps. For those thinking of turning up next Saturday watch this space as it sounds like next Saturday a number are away. So perhaps lets do a check on Thursday or Friday. Lyndon

Yes it was great to get out last Saturday. Unfortunately I'll be away this weekend at the final heat of the Summer Raceboard series on Lake Illawarra.
I'll definitely be back at Gosford Saturday 19th March. Hope to see you all then. It's looking like we might have at least 4-5 starters which will be fantastic to get us started.

hi. I plan to be there. The forecast looked fantastic yesterday but more west in the morning now. :( South west is really swirly and gusty. Hope it goes south quickly.

Great day racing. Thanks for the handicap start, the close finishes were real fun. Sorry for bailing on the third race. How was the wind? Sure was a fast ride back to the sailing club. :) I plan to be there , but remember its easter saturday. Sorry once again I need to be leaving by 4pm.

Yes it was a great day to be out on the water, the breeze freshened again for the 3rd race and the reaches back to the club were sensational.
Yes it's easter next weekend, I'm playing golf in the morning but planning to sail. Might be slightly late depending what time I get out of golf.
Fingers crossed we get another breeze like yesterday.

I may potentially be running a little late as well so to save time I will launch from Tascott and meet you in the middle, hopefully we might get to 10 knots

Hi Lyndon,
Pete and I managed to get one race in last Saturday, and Pete took my Lechner for a run. While it wasn't as exciting as the past couple of weeks it wasn't too bad out in the bay, although the work back to the club was a slow one.
See you guys again this Saturday if you're free. I might not be there till about 2pm though so feel free to start without me.

Hi guys. My sons playing soccer 130 to 230 so add me to the late list. For once I can stay till dark. The weather looks better the later we leave it. If there's no parking at the club I might launch from the japanese gardens and be closer to the bay. I sailed the NE today friday. Thought it would build but it died at about 6pm and I struggled home in the dark :(

To all you guys and gals who cant join our races due to lack of equipment I've decided to sell my beloved F2. Ive had it for 20 yrs. Everything works perfectly, it weighs under 14kg with straps but no CB. Its a great board but at 250 litres Im too heavy for it. I want $1000 for it . I'm not interested in offers. It has a power box and is lighter than earlier versions. I think the CB is a bit bigger too but Im not certain about that. The cassette CB works so well I wish all boards had them. Board even has original mechanical uni joint.

It's pretty calm down here at Gosford, almost glassed over. Birth Peters can't make it today so just you and me Lyndon, depending how keen you are.

Hey I think I just closed the deal on a RS D2 Exocet. Not sure when Im going to be able to pick it up.
I'm glad there is interest in the F2.

Thanks for the sail today John. Cant believe you can have a good sail like that with such terrible wind. The D2 was amazing Thanks for the try of it. But I think you were matching me when you were on the cave man when you were concentrating. Might do even better if the boom wasn't so high. The 9.5 race-board sail felt very powerful without being as heavy as mine.

Any Idea what vintage this lightning would be, it has a powerbox.

Mast track was slipping, I noticed the metal bar that looks like it locks the base was out of place, I corrected it and will have to test on the water but does anyone know of any common problems and solutions with lightning mast tracks

That black and purple sticker is the only marking left on it

Hi guys, My old caveman longboard needs new gaskets and I can't find the material anywhere. Does anyone know where I can get it?

There was a heavy duty gasket under the counter at windsurfnsnow a month or so ago. Not sure what board it was intended for but it looked plenty wide and long.

Years ago I was told to put sticky back on my gasket as seen in the photos. I did this because my previous boards gasket split very early. Any way Ive never had a problem, although the sticky back could do with replacing. I actually bought spare gaskets 20 yrs ago expecting them to fail and I still have brand new spares I will pass on with the board.
