Just bought the smallest Tribal Weedspeed.

Tragic I know but who doesn't like new toys?

2 weeks ago Ado. You can just see the high water sign. I'll be there sailing after work and take another pic. Packers is completely under water. Hasn't been opened to the sea this year so only filled with fresh water.

depends on what you are after.... SWRocks has a great starboard-tack-jumping-wave.... and the forecast for today looked pretty fine [ did it hit the 28kn forecast ? ]

Looking at pics from start of November last year level is about spot on the same now. Weed beds all there still and water warming up and getting a bit clearer. No mud ??

So there appears to be a consensus that LG will be no good in early 2019 . The "Southern Ocean Tourist Park" will most likely be empty. However I am stupid enough to go (and I suspect a few other nutters will turn up as well) I am thinking of booking the same spot as last year from say the 29th of Jan for a week or so.

Lake George is always good! Epic? Not quite so often.

Jimbob said the water levels in November where very much the same as the same time last year. One difference is that he reported that the lake was not opened to the sea this year which might hold the water up a bit higher - but maybe not as it seems to be still not far from the same time last years. The only concern I have is if they keep getting lots of rain and it keeps coming into the lake. But the chances are much higher that the wind and the summer evaporation will cause the normal fast drop in water levels so it will be back to its best by the end of January/early February.

Ha ?? in with the Valley People... with some wild crew in that area.

I won't be around much this season as not many days off work and helping one of my boys sort out his house he's bought at Beachport. Saving holidays till next winter to visit oldest boy in London again.

?????? but looking forward to the the George and Ado contest to who is gunna cook me the best pasta again.

looks like we could have up to 2 inches of rain next few days that's not good.

Yes that's unfortunate timing Kato, but I may be passing through Inverloch in Late Feb on the way home from Tassie- so watch out!

Rode past LG today and the water level is still very high. We had 40 mils of rain again last week. No drought down here.
Haven't sailed here for a while so can't really say how the weed beds are thou you can easily see they are still there.

5 mile

I thought you might have been training in preparation for Feb on your push bike when you said "rode"

On leave now until the 12th. Crap forecast for the next 10 days, looks like max and me will only be coming over for a jetty dog
