I can't find a company that will ship boards interstate for a reasonable price anymore. Any suggestions?

^^^^ none are reasonable lol

But smartsend does door to door for the same price (or bit less) than the so-called 30% off you get with e-go depot-to-depot

Been happy with them twice now

Quoted just under $100 through a TNT account - but doesn't include insurance or packing materials.

Yep and getting stiffed big time! Exactly the same freight specs quoted through TNT's EasySend 'non-account' portal ...$375!!! AND you gotta pay immediately via Credit Card.

I want to get a board from Gero to Adelaide and saw this thread. Anyone got any ideas as to the best direction to take?

^^^ U tried lately? For me, sail went up from $70 to $120 overnight, could not get a board east-west for under $250.

Most of the couriers have or are introducing Manual handling fees for freight that can't be sorted on their conveyors. So the the fee applies for anything that's not a standard small to medium size carton under 30kg. This would apply to boards and sails.

Because they are sooooo far away , its quicker to post around the back of Earth and come in from the other side
And use China post , its cheaper.
