HELP: I am getting lost with all the choice out there. The lines are getting blurred from windfoil to sup foil to wingfoil.. to something called prone surf etc. It's becoming extremely time consuming to make an overview and compare offers. Also online shops are increasingly classifying everything across categories.

I am looking for a single board for:
- freeride windfoiling (60-80% of its use)
- wingfoiling (remainder of its use)

Additionally:
-Anything involving paddling is to be completely excluded/avoided.
-Fin windsurfing: not needed.
-The board should have a US double track. DT may be optional.
-Volume can be between 105-130L. Boards that are short with lots of max volume range are preferred.
-There should be footstrap positions for both windfoiling and winging.
-Mast connection can be single screw or mast track.
-Nothing inflatable please.
-Primary use is on flatwater.
-Carrying handle would be nice / not critical if not there

What board models should I be looking at?

You just described the JP Freefoil and the Fanatic FoilStyler, take a look at the new Slingshots too.

Fanatic Sky Sup 6.11 windsurf model could be an option.
i use it for light wind windsurfing and a bit of winging with the Fanatic Flow foil with 2000 front wing.
easy fun set up to ride.

Hmm "FoilStyler"... first time I hear about it. Thanks! Looks nice!
BTW is this guy Fanatic's Greg Glazier?

I read through the JP Freefoil presentation today but could not find the text 'wing' as in winging context.

Which Slingshot models for both windfoil and wingfoil?

This fits the bill quite good (windsurf edition as you say)!

The Fanatic is a carbon copy of the JP SUP foil jp-australia.com/p/foil-boards/foil-sup/
(or vice versa)

I'm planning on purchasing one or two of these boards. I have specific boards for wind foiling and another for wing foiling but one of these would make life a little less complicated

RRD Pocket Rocket, has it all:
Tuttle Foil box, US double track, complete softdeck cover, carrying handle on top and bottom, only 180cm long, enough volume to uphaul easily (82kg rider). Love it, riding it with the Super Cruiser and Ezzy Zetas or with a Duotone Unit wing.

The list so far (and some nice looking boards here!)
================
Fanatic FoilStyler
Fanatic Sky Sup 6.11 windsurf model
JP Foil SUP
RRD Pocket Rocket
Goya Airbolt

** I exclude the JP Freefoil since I can't find winging in its description.
* Added the Goya Airbolt

I find this a fascinating board. However I saw a youtube review of it by Stefan Haberl, and he seemed to make very good points on the limitations of the footstrap positions. He pointed out that the rear outward positions made no sense, as your heels get into the water. What's your take on the footstrap positioning?

I don't wing foil, but the w114 is a very good wingfoil board that is big enough to be used in lightwind for the 80kg crowd and small enough to handle strong wind and swell. It does have winging straps and the track which I hear is good for winging.

I think the 90L wizard is probably a great wingfoil board for competent wingfoilers, but in my opinion would not be big enough for most people to windfoil in light winds.

So if you want it to be good at both WF and WF my vote would be w114, but as I said I have never winged.

Maybe someone on the wingfoiling forum has tried either for winging.

The 114 for sure -- pretty short and good volume for learning. As mentioned, it has foot strap placement for winging, which is a big plus. The 90 would also be really good once you're beyond the learning stage. Lots of guys are using boards of this volume (90) or less for low wind winging with big wind wings. The problem with winging is that most graduate from a high volume board to something much smaller pretty quickly -- now you probably sell the big board.

To start, do not (repeat -- do not) try and use the wing like you would a windsurf sail. Use it more like a kite at first and keep it high. When you get more comfortable you can start to bring it down beside you when on foil. I humiliated myself at first by thinking I could use it like a sail -- I got nowhere until I took a little time to figure out what I was doing wrong -- then I started to progress.

Lots of good "how to" videos on Youtube.

Wizard 114 would be nice, but they missed to put a handle on the bottom for winging, then it would be perfect.

The Sroka imo ticks almost all boxes, but also has the handle on the wrong side:

Yes. Has the strap position, kick tail, handle, shape and rides like a small board. Just a tad over OP size at 143l. Would be IMO a great board. What is the weight? Around 17-18lbs?

Mine was 19lbs with the mast base.

You are right about it riding like a much smaller board. Everything behind the foil mast (eg the kick tail) is essentially volume good for schlogging but it has very little impact when up on the foil.

Interesting board. Checked out some of theirs smaller sup foil boards. It struck me that the shape is very much like the KT shape of sup foil boards which we also see (in more extreme form) on the Goya Airbolt.

Will be updating the list later!

143 L sounds big. Are there smaller sizes of the 'sled' (I dislike they called it a sled)

Not that I know of. My guess is there would be too much overlap between a smaller shredsled and their other boards.

================
Fanatic FoilStyler
Fanatic Sky Sup 6.11 windsurf model
Fanatic Bee*

JP Foil SUP
JP Freefoil

Slingshot w114
Slingshot Shred Sled**

Naish Hover Crossover
RRD Pocket Rocket
Goya Airbolt
Tabou Magic Carpet
Zeeko Airwave
Sroka (SUP foil) Skyrider

* The Fanatic Bee has limited footstrap positions (rather for windfoiling only, and other use is strapless)
**Although volume wise it is out of range, size wise its interesting. Plus is multi-use

I don't thin k the Sroka is a SUPfoil board, more of a multitool for Wing, Wind and SUPfoil.

they have three boards with mastfeet: srokacompany.com/en/?s=SUP+Foil+SKY+RIDER&post_type=product
and all their names mention SUP, foil, wing.. so confusing!
