Wondering if anyone here has any experience on the 3m Slingwing, esp regarding its top end and also how it goes for DW foiling ? ( does it behave itself when flying one handed )? I am 80kg, looking for a storm wing ( 30-40 kts). The Slingwing looks like it has the most rigid structure of all the wings currently, others I have tried flap like crazy at their top end , a recipe for trailing edge destruction I reckon.
Not a lot of info around on these. Thanks in advance for any experience y'all can share on them.
Not sure about the Slingwing the reviews are not that positive but would probably do the job. Have had a 4m Ozone Wasp out in 25+ knots and that was fine. I am a heavyweight though. If you are after a bargain there is a 3m Duotone in buy and sell.
I cannot get the link to work. Copy and paste the text into the address bar

I have the 4.2 Slingwing but have not seen a 3 meter. I have not heard a lot of positive comments on the Slingwing. I bought one anyway because it looked good to me. It is the only wing I have tried. I quite like it. You are correct regarding the lack of flapping in strong winds. I was out once when a squall blew through. The wing remained stable with no flapping or control issues sheeted out. I was able to continue on foil and just lost a bit of upwind angle. The wing does dip a bit left and right when flying it with one hand on the leading edge handle. I found that can be reduced by holding the first handle below the leading edge. I would imagine the 3 meter could handle a lot of wind.
I posted this video on the Wasp vs. Naish thread. It is, what I would call, an honest review of the original Sling Wing 4.2.
