In Perth, we have had one storm and its nearly June... is this expected? Global warming?

May 2019 Average :Total 17.46mm
May 1993-2017 Av :Total 90.31mm

I'd also like to note a lot of arvo/evenings have had a 5-10knot sea breeze rather than the typical autumn stillness.

No, its terrible. I like storms very much, westerly is the best direction.

Hurry up with the electric vehicles so I can have my storms back please

Maybe my fault as I bought a new kite so probably no wind for a few months now.

I've been in bed for a month now, I don't get out of bed for less than 30knots.

Still going! Fark, this is an absolute joke. Waiting 10 years for only half the new production line of cars be electric is too long. I NEED STORMZ NOW!!!!

Reckon we are a good month out of relative whack. Been gradually happening over the past 5 years the seasons shifting forward relative to our made up human seasonal clock anyway.

Weirdest season I've had here
regular 30/35 knts but not the prolonged 25/28 knts we usually get , but only turned off a few weeks ago which is late, a 15/17 mtr would of seen you well powered lately too, not s drop of rain and 28/29 deg days, perfect fishing weather but we're in need of rain the Midwest is a dry old spot atm, actually hanging out for some decent frontals and a feel of winter,

Agreed, was perhaps the best, most consistent and longest spell of wind for a Perth summer I can remember, we didn't get the usual Feb/March period of light, gutless winds, it was pretty pumping all summer long. So, not a surprise that the 'autumn' period of no wind has arrived, and as per the last 5 years, winter will probably arrive later and hang around longer into Spring like it's done recently....

I'm looking at painting my concrete floor this week and looking for a warm day. Thursday is 28 degree, min 18,...not bad for June.

Some rain would be nice. I turned off the water to my fruit trees 6 weeks ago thinking winter was here, haven't had a drop since. I'm too stubborn to turn it back on as it means I don't know weather.

But.. No wind has meant there has been days for the SUP. The colder but relatively dry days has also been great for MTB.
I am buying a new Sup on Friday, watch the wind kick in

She's a bit of a chop fest on the that side at Exmouth unless you can grab it at very low tide.

northerelys like that normally mean the start of a big eventual westerley front. Interestingly that last Thursday has modelled a west change near end of day. Reckon weekend after this one could see the change. Hope so !!

It's big air Thursday! But what's a northerly?!? Never heard of such a thing in these parts, I don't even know what beach to go to.

So let down by my fellow Seabreazer's. Here I am stuck at work watching the first solid winter wind/ swell on the surfcam and not a kite to be seen. I'm not angry,..just disappointed :) LOL
