Breezers,
heading down to Golden Beach Gippsland next week for a few days, any suggestions or recommendations for kiting in the area? Thanks.

A few locals head to Seaspray in decent SW wind or with at least a bit of "on" to the direction
Check out Gippsland Kiteboarders on Facebook.
Loch Sport will give you lake kiting on a NW facing shore of Lake Victoria
Or Sperm Whale Head gives lottsa options. Plenty of boating/sailing in view from Paynesville just across the water

The Ninety Mile Beach is pretty full on .... you would be wise to only kite with a buddy, and be thoroughly proficient in very rough water. (you would only kite with 15kts plus wind) The shore break is TOUGH, very steep beach and lottsa undertow, and often a walking pace long shore current between beach and sandbar. Check with surf fishos when they last saw a shark .....

Thanks for the reply, I will look at the Facebook page and check out the suggested locations.
