Hi all
I'm a blow in from Melbourne (but don't hold that against me) - in Perth for a couple of weeks.
Looking for a few kite buddies to do downwinders around Perth. Have a large car that would prob take 4-5 people depending on gear.
Last time I was here I had a blast with the Upwinder bus crew, but looks like that is no longer operating. I hear there are a couple of FB pages operating, bit I can't seem to find them
Also in Margaret River for a few days, would also be great to hookup with anyone riding waves there.

Well. You might get a better tip from someone else but I've heard there's a slack app the down winder crew use. Maybe just go meet a few of them down at Trigg on a windy day, I think you need an invite to get on the app
G'day I'm coming over to visit my brother in feb and want to bring an older kite to leave for future visits either a 9m trx which is good in higher winds or 10 m Argo which pulls like train. Mb both ?? Do you start at freo and up to Perth for downwinders??
Im not after a buddy just want to know what the average conditions are like for feb so i can decide on what gear to bring
I'll be in town until Jan 28, also looking for downwinders in the Perth Area (got a car, but a small one).

I'll do a downwinder this afternoon Monday 7th. I have a car too. Msg me ianbarlow2006@gmail.com
Theres a great facebook messenger group called Perh Downwinders Trigg beach.
Just message when you can make it to Triggs south carpark, theres always someone looking for a buddy, throw you gear in their car and you're away to City beach. Also a great way to meet kiters.
But its a closed group. You need to ask your WA FB mates whos on it, and if they can invite you. If you cant sort it PM me.
