Safe to say that all Sunny Coast missed todays NW

The beach was deserted. So where was everyone? Normally the lagoon is packed with up to 30 kiters.

Winds were light early on, shortly picking up to 18-20knots before dropping just after lunch.

NW, cool. looks like you guys had fun. we had a proper seebreeze today, 19-21 knots. unfortunately as im writing this im still at work and missed out

saw the wind was dropping considerably compared to what was forcasted so gave it a miss
to fat for this sub 20kn stuff needed an engine to haul me around in circles

Time alike this I wish I was at School, or Uni.

Doesn't help when the sun goes down at 4.30pm in SEQ.....


Someone should do something about the axis of the Earth and or the timezone we live in.

Picture the earth on a 23 degree slant, then look at the coast line of the Eastern Sea Board. South East Queensland get hits by the night first.

Slingshot have a wicked Foiling Flight School setup with different length masts. I learnt on that. Was pretty confident after a full days riding.

if you have a 4wd and a spare day go to double island point, well worth it!

I will try to resuscitate the SeQld locations guide. Google swallowed it .. Thursday ok for DI.. check tides +get a beachaccess pass... also I INSKIP on lagoon way more accessible but allwheel better.. for SW either side of southern end Bribie island channel.... deep on island side (Bongarree). Shallow mainland side...

Just a heads up, lots of unmarked police vehicles up their atm, (white and grey). Just watch your speed through teewah and the campsite areas.
