Hi,
I am planning a trip to Queensland beginning of March.
What are the usual wind & weather conditions at that time of the year?
Could you recommend any spots for kitesurfing?
What kite size should I bring? Thanks,
Nils

Pretty big State QLD, where are you headed? I've learnt to take all my kites if I'm going on a kite trip, it's pretty much guaranteed you will need the one kite you didn't bring at some point.
March is near the end of the trade wind season on the Sunshine Coast.

so true, Gateman. I'll try to bring as much as I can , but Airlines and my budget do not cooperate.

I'll be around Brisbane with a camper. I am looking for options and then decide by conditions once I am there.

I'm on the Sunshine Coast, 62kg and ride twin tip. I'd use my 9m and 12m about 50/50 split if that helps. Monitoring wind the last few weeks they seem to regularly have a few knots more than us a few hours north (Harvey Bay and Bundaberg)

Here is a link to the site guide for SE QLD:

Hope this helps, have a good trip.
