Just a tip on that nasty blow-job (sorry). Do NOT try and sticky patch the leading edge after you've fixed or replace your bladder. A blown LE section needs to be professionally sewn in. I know because I did the glue and mesh trick that some use on their canopys thinking she'll be right. Pumped up my kite and within 5 minutes - POP!
Ok.thanx guys
Hoping for a second bladder as opposed to 100?
Can anyone send me quotes for that tear if not I am told fishing line and careful hand sewing ..zigzag for pressure..is ok sometimes thanx

cheap!?
Geesus man, what are you prepared to pay for that repair $20 (sticky tape solution) or $200 (professionally sewen, never a problem again)
Agreed.but can get another rabbit 012 for 250..so what do u do
Buy the $250 one and use the one you've got for spares.
I fix kites and bladders - Going by what I can see in the pic -
I don't think you'll find anyone that will charge less than $150 to repair
that LE and bladder professionally.
Cost depends on how big the tear in the bladder is and whether or not the LE
tear is only on the LE or continues down into the canopy.
ok
Thanks
I found loads of wainman punches and wainman this and that on the web for 250 last week but now they are all gone...i wonder if someone saw my pic and boUght them all...
I c an fix the bladder but not the leading edge. That requires a professional seamstress... err a guy that can sew!
You can email the photos to WA Sail Repair and they will give you a quote. Have been using them for the last 3 years - all repairs very professional and never had to come back with the same problem. Prices are reasonable and quality very good. My most expensive repair was $140 - middle line snapped on my bar and then right line torn off the tip of my kite.
