Hi. I am looking for an all round park and kiteboard. I been reading a lot. seem like a lot of people here have ridden these boards. Can you give me what you guys think of the two choices? or any other choice.here is what i know:

Flow
- good freestyle but not very for old school o big air
- heavier than most modern boards
- more durable base
- very high rocker line
- very cheap now (cuz no one like it?)
- slower/more tricky upwind
- more power to ride

Refraction
- very all round for every style
- lighter?
- base get beat up faster
- more forgiving on straps
- quicker board

other choices
North - gambler
LF - echo
ride clash - reincarnation 2.1

they are both wonderful boards.
-both have the same grind base.
-both weigh about the same

- flow is good for boosting big cause the extra rocker gives you more edge.
- flow is slow AF
- flow is fun to cave from edge to edge

-ss is faster and has more hight to the pop i think.

these are the only differences i can think of off the top of my head.
i would get the refraction only cause a slow board annoys me.

Also have a look at axis kiteboarding, the axis tranq and the axis billy. Depending on your weight and height for which one to add to your list to look at. The others i can think of what are used by pro's on the kite park league are cabrinha CBL, airush livewire and the naish stomp.

Refraction actually has the thickest and most slippery grind base in the industry. .7mm thick

Check out Sam Lights cable videos.

I have a Refraction it works great at the park and kiting . Goes upwind like a champ ! Its so fast at park it doesn't wear out your arms . Base is wearing but they all do ;-[ Loving the park at winter ;-]
