Thumbs Up

Hi guys,

Just wanted to share you my feeling about the Shinn Monk Ghost, just start to kite 6 months ago with a Slingshot Vision 140cm, which was fine to learn but wanted something smaller to keep going. I'm 76kg and ride two Slingshot Rally 2017 (8 and 12m), most likely doing freeride, few (small) jumps and backroll so far. Also ride in wavy conditions. I've got the 135cm since nearly 2 months now.

So, about the board, the first things i noticed is how confortable it is, it's really smooth when i ride, easy to go upwind as well, just need more speed than the Slingshot Vision but i guess it because of the board being smaller. Board is really light as well.

Then, i really love the pads, the system to easy tight or release the straps is cool, it takes 10 seconds to adjust it in the water. When it's setup correctly, you just forgot about them in the water.

Fins are kind of big (compare to the Vision) but after being use to, they are ok for me..

The only thing i noticed is the paint at the back with is not perfect. You can see the pad fixation. Not a big issue since it doesn't affect the ride but would have been perfect without theses marks. It's apparently normal even if i found people with same board and no marks...

Hope someone will find this "beginner" review useful. Cheers
