Hi,

Riding an airush lithium, end of my first season and loving it.

What I'm not loving is trying to keep my 4 pulleys smoothly turning over, sand gets jammed down the sides and it's a pita to get it out.

Any downside to swapping these pulleys out for these little guys? too much friction etc? They certainly don't look like they'd have more friction than a pulley I didn't unjam before kiting.

Thanks

There's thread over at kiteforum.com about them... basically, slightly more drag than a pulley but a lot less than a jammed pulley ;) expect more wear on the bridles...

The best info seems to come from Dimitri on this thread on Kiteforum because he had been using them for months.

I've got the Ronstan gold sliders on my Plynn Swell kites they feel great and haven't noticed any line wear yet ,the old pulleys seem to wear fast so prob gonna replace the pulleys on my escapes with the sliders ,don't know why they still used the pulleys on the escapes all the kites are this years ?
