G'day, I've been practicing back rolls in the last few sessions after landing my first attempt really nicely a couple of weeks ago. I feel like I'm starting to find a balance between board speed, kite position and turn speed. A couple of times last session I ended the back roll with the kite downlooping quickly.
What is likely to cause the kite to downloop? I felt as though my hands/bar didn't turn and I don't really know about my body shape or position to comment. I landed one backroll with downloop at high speed and it was a bit hairy!
Just looking for your thoughts or tips to try to improve and reduce the risk of crashing hard.

Keep both hands in the centre of the bar unless ur trying to loop the kite...
pull on the front hand if u want to downloop or backhand for kiteloop...
for a tight quick loop u will need to fishing pole the bar by moving either hand to the end of the bar and pull hard, some will use both hands at one end of the bar for this...
for a big slow loop u need less input at the bar...
100% commitment is required for loops, DO NOT pull out half way through!
practicing in light winds will reduce the risk of butt hurt
Downloops will be the result of pulling the front hand on the bar. Its pretty common that most people end up pulling one hand or another - although it is often the back hand.
