Gerroa is the most northern end of 7 mile beach ,and is in the wind shadow of a huge headland. A true noreast is cross offshore at Gerroa . A north wind is offshore . If you like gusty cross offshore , Gerroa is your place .Windsurfers prefer it more than kiters for left hand bearaway waveriding. The further downwind from gerroa the more it becomes cross onshore in relation to the curve of the beach.

Just adding that 7 mile , werri beaches and jervis bay are consistently the strongest noreast wind locations in summer preferably on a sunny day.
