Hi,

For anyone who's had custom designed kites with advertising, have you managed to resell them for a decent value at all ? How much value loss should I expect, at least ?

Thanks

Currently going through the process. How long are you thinking of keeping your quiver and what kites are you getting ? My plan was to give them away when I'm done to a newbie.

I'll be choosing this option on my next purchase, I'll then pass them on to new promising youth, they win and they advertise my buisness, bit of a no brainer

Yeah I'm the same boat there cauncy. I think the sport and some young sprog would better Benefit on the gear. Even if ya value a quiver @10k I kite on average 1 to 2 times a week so standing my current quiver stands me 4 years or so 8/10/12/18 2 bars pump board new teather waist nd seat harness for the days when you have done a down winder and can't face the water. At once a week Maths would be close enough to say 50 dollars a week over the time. It's church change in the grand scheme of things for the enjoyment out of the one thing I do for myself a week. So yeah 100% write off for me and enjoy every bit of it lol.

I would agree with Cauncy and The Pin Puller, just give them away for some free advertising once your done, but it may also depend on the business advertised and graphics.

Im thinking of the Ben Wilson kites with JEEP. I don't think that affected their resale compared to ones without that branding (I might be wrong). But maybe that was because there were so many BWS kites with the JEEP branding that it kinda became the norm.

Just a thought....

I would hope the kites are more reliable then the vehicles
