Hi,first of all I'd like to introduce myself real quick: I'm a kiteboarder from Austria, who started 3 years ago. I fell in love with this sport and spend most of my vacation in kitesurfing.I just signed up here because it seems that nobody in the german-speaking world/ in my forum has the same problem (hence, unfortunately no one can help me).
The actual problem is, that after 30 to 60min my skin starts to itch like hell in the area, where the harness sits. It's clearly dependent on the level of relative movement between the harness and my skin. Thats also the reason, why I didn't have it as a beginner - since there where no jumps or rotations, etc. involved (almost no relative movement when just going straight).Anyways, I have to stop my session then, because I wanna rip my skin off - after landing the kite and removing the neopren, it still itches a little bit - but it's completely ok again after a few hours and most importantly - there is NOTHING to see on my skin (hence, it's no neopren allergy or anything like that).
I've been to several doctors - first we tried different cremes (also antihistamine) which didn't work at all - I thought it could be a "aquagen pruritus" - so I rented a dry suit - also didn't work. I also tried a sitting harness - then even my thighs do itch too. Came to the conclusion, that is must have neurologic reasons (doctor: "just find yourself another hobby..").
The only thing which helps a little is to wear a "paddeljacke" for kayaking:
www.sport-schroeer.de/online-shop/bekleidung/paddeljacken-und-hosen/kurzarm-paddeljacken/9524/langer-rhone?c=137 I think by putting something in between the skin and the harness which ensures a low level of friction - it would work. Unfortunately this "paddeljacke" doesn't stay dry and then it starts again. If anyone has an idea concerning some type of shirt, which even has "low friction" if its wet.. that could really help!!
I'm sorry for the long explanation but I'm starting to get quite desperate - does anyone here have the same problem!?
Thanks and may the wind always be with you :)

All jokes aside
you may have prickly heat, basically your sweating more than your pores release so sweating under the skin, had this amongst others as an army diver during training in heat, a possibility ,
Get a seat harness.. Hello
unless that's different to a "sitting harness" then he has tried that if you read it
sounds like a neoprene allergy to me, that's pretty common
+1 for prickly heat, which is a bastard of an affliction you would not wish on your worst enemy. Try isocol or bulk alco wipes otherwise I found I was more prone to get it when I was carrying a bit extra weight so maybe drop a kg and see if that helps.
If you're sure its movement, I recently switched to a ride engine harness and man it does not move at all (even less if you get the slider rope thinghy).
Maybe hard shell harness and 3B cream?
