Anyone with one of the fancy new Naish Torque 2 bars?
They've issued a recall for both 50cm and 55cm bars,(return them to the original place of purchase for a full refund). Possible hazards related to these control systems include: a) Potential for the SnapLock Quick Release to not properly disconnect when activated; and b) Excessive wear of the TLS 400 Flying Lines may cause potential failure.

When does a quick release ever quick release ??? ... The times I am in the wave impact zone after a stuff up going in and the next 5 foot whitewash is upon me and release doesn't work Ive got 3 seconds , and I am dragged underwater coz the kite is pushed by whitewash in front and I am still being dragged underwater. Until you experience this wtf.....no one prepares you for this situation .

Do a post in newbies, they need a few of these stories.

They can quick release all right when you don't want them to! I've managed to accidentally release in a crash; must've just bumped the QR
Yeh considered it ,but didn't want to put off newbies from the sport .
It's really needed.
One newbie last season was telling me about her downwinder with a few kitebuddies that ended poorly with a tumble in waves.
These stories need to be shared, a downwinder sounds like a great idea for anyone not to good at staying upwind but the reality can be quite different.
