Considering getting Gofoil kit (probably with GL120 or GL140 front wing) as a replacement for an aging "free ride" kite foil setup.
But doesn't seem like Gofoil is used much by the kite foil community?
Advice and opinions (informed or otherwise) welcome ...

My focus would be 90% on kite foiling with say 130 cm dedicated kite foil board in choppy 10-20 knot conditions, but I also like the idea of getting a bigger front wing and prone surf board to dabble in that too.

I thought the consensus was it was too slow due to the thickness of the profile...

My 2c based on a 15m swap was that the one I rode was quite wobbly coming off my axis gear. It was controllable and not too bad but just felt a bit unstable on the roll axis at lower speeds. Also this particular one made a horrendous whine which at about 15kts kicked up to an even higher louder note. Absolute deal breaker for me I like silence. If I couldn't sand or shim it out I would have sold it for that reason. However the owner said he quite liked the noise so I guess it's horses for courses. Can't say what model it was sorry.

Also for what it's worth I'd recommend axis S Series with 680 wing for kiting and something like the 920 for prone.

Has anyone tried the new Gofoil NL series wings with a kite
