Hervey Bay, awesome for foiling. 3 hours either side of high tides is best, gets pretty shallow at low tides. Northerlies work well, will get clear runs right across the bay. Launch from Shelly Beach or Surf life saving club. South Easterlies, launch from south of aquarium. Watch out for strong currents and some interesting wild life in the Sandy Straits. There's 5 foilers in the bay, will add you to our messenger group if you're keen.
