Hey fast foilers,

The Jervoise Bay Sailing Club is hosting the season opener, first heat of the club championship on Sunday the 6th October. Put this in your diary.

The racing is open to Kite PRO as well as the new Formula 2 class. Formula 2 as previously mentioned is everything from beginner to advanced foils and inflatable kites. You just cannot enter PRO race gear in this class. We have already had several new racers attend the last of the winter race series.

Great fun to test yourself against friends or others at your level. You need to complete only two laps of the 3 laps that the Formula Foil people will need to do which should keep things interesting.

Briefing (where we are advised about the course and start conditions) is on at 12pm. Meet at 11am on the grassed rigging area in front of the club to prep. Racing starts on the water at 1pm sharp.

The club entrance track can be found almost directly across from Beach 1 at Woodmans Point. Sausage sizzle and drinks are available after racing.

3 races in all, so if you have a shocker, reset and have another crack in the next race. It's about having fun so come on along.

Feel free to ask any questions.
