I've been looking at buying the kids a soft board surfboard for Xmas, and now getting the same softies coming up in the ads on SB, just wondering if I clicked and bought some via the ads on SB, if that helps you with a few bucks or gives you a better conversion rating or something for better $ per thousand or however they work the ad paying?
cheers
I don't think it matters whether you buy stuff, it is the click through that generates the revenue. If you click on a banner ad, laurie gets his 2c.

So that's where the saying

comes from......

Yes, exactly. The phrase was coined 100 years ago in anticipation of the creation of the internet, Laurie's development of the Seabreeze website, and his ultimate decision to monetise it.
That's 'cookies' at work for you. In the UK (and your starting to see it here now too)
there is a requirement to advise that your website uses cookies to track your browsing history ....
The important thing is that if Laurie makes money from advertising he will be able to keep Seabreeze going.
Seabreeze beats the hell out of Faceplant and Twittface.
Just a shame he chose to censor or was told to censor, lol.
Do tell........ how do you know that when you have been here for all of 5 minutes ??????

Which is stupid anyway, cause you can't opt out of cookies and still browse a site.
So what's the point of informing people?
